Synopsis for "The Two Jimmy Olsens"
Jimmy Olsen is shocked to answer his front door and find himself standing there in greeting. This double of Jimmy is actually a robot invented by Doctor Saxon, who wants Jimmy to try out his life like robot for 24 hours and let him know how well it works. Jimmy agrees to try out the robot, and sends it out in his place as he gotten an anonymous note from a criminal threatening his life. The Jimmy robot goes out and one of his first acts is to save a boy endangered by a speeding car. When the Jimmy robot is trying to stop a bank robber, the cooks bullets reverse the robots sense of right and wrong, and it helps the crook to escape. This getaway proves short lived when his is quickly caught by Superman. The robot returns to Jimmy and reports that it helped stop the crook, when Jimmy asks the robot to go to the Daily Planet and ask for a raise, the robot instead asks for a pay cut, a shocked Perry White can do nothing but comply.
When the Jimmy robot happens past a billboard showcasing Superman and Jimmy's friendship as part of a Brotherhood Week promotion, he vandalizes it making it appear as though Jimmy and Superman are shaking fists at each other instead of shaking hands. When Superman sees this damage he breaks down the sign and builds a statue that is indestructible. After the robotic Jimmy vandalizes the Metropolis museum, Jimmy realizes that his robot is defective. Superman, having fixed the problem and noticed the robot Jimmy arrives and stops Jimmy from destroying the robot suggesting that they should use it to catch the crook who threatened his life.
The robot is sent out to the streets and Superman goes off to tell Dr. Saxon about his robots defects. Jimmy realizes all the false scoops the robot fed him and rushes to the Daily Planet to stop the presses and gets caught by the crook looking for revenge. When Superman spots the crook strapping what he thinks is the robot Jimmy to the presses, he captures the crook and then realizes that it's really Jimmy who is strapped to the bomb and saves his life.
When Superman and Jimmy go to the Daily Planet to destroy the robot, Lois Lane accuses of Superman of being Clark Kent after she witnesses Kent get flattened by a roll of paper from the printing press. When Jimmy smashes the robot duplicate of himself, Lois then decides that the Clark Kent that was flattened by the paper must have been a robot as well.

Synopsis for "The Human Geiger Counter"
When Superman finds a gold meteor in outer space he tips Jimmy off to report the story of how he will turn the meteor into gold bars and give it to charity. Going to report the story, Jimmy is shocked to find that he begins clicking like a Geiger Counter whenever he is near the Man of Steel. Believing that he must have developed some form of allergy to Superman, Jimmy begins avoiding the Man of Steel, and misses out on his scoop.
When a crook takes notice of Jimmy's behavior, he realizes the real truth: That for some reason whenever Superman is in the proximity of both Jimmy Olsen and gold Jimmy begins to click. Using Jimmy as a human Geiger Counter to find more gold, the crook is ultimately foiled when Superman comes to save the day. Later, Superman learns that a flawed material in Jimmy's signal watch was the source of the clicking whenever Superman came into contact with gold near it, and fixes the flaw.
Appearing in "Superman's Kid Brother"
Synopsis for "Superman's Kid Brother"
The Metropolis Charity Show has Jimmy Olsen appearing as a guest of honor, signing autographs for $1, all going to charity. For this occasion, Jimmy dresses up in a Superboy costume and begins to muse about what it would be like to be Superman's kid brother. When Jimmy trips over a wire and falls in a replica of the rocket that brought the young Superman to Earth, it goes off and crashes near by. Having been struck on the head, Jimmy believes himself to be Superman's kid brother and calls himself Superkid, and insists that he aid his "brother" Superman.
Superman meanwhile attempts to try and make Jimmy remember who he truly is, but no matter what he tries, Jimmy manages to convince himself that he has super-powers. It's not until Jimmy assumes his "secret identity" at the Daily Planet, that he gets his memory back. Slipping into a broom closet and changing into his Superkid costume, Jimmy struts around the Daily Planet secure in the belief that nobody is going to mistake Jimmy with Superkid. This of course doesn't work, because the moment Lois notices Jimmy parading around in a Superboy costume, Lois calls him on it, causing him to regain his true memory.
