However, when Jimmy gets to Dillingham street, he can't remember if he has to go to number 127 or 721. When #127 turns out to be a derelict home, he tries his luck with #721. The owner of the home tells Jimmy that the valuable book he was carrying was just a decoy that he has delivered to detour thieves, and not recognizing Jimmy as his regular delivery boy pulls a gun on Jimmy and begins to call the police.

This is when the two crooks burst in to steal what they think is a valuable book, however Jimmy manages to fight them off long enough for the home owner to hold them at gun point and call the police. Jimmy rushes off to the Daily Planet to report the story. When it sees print, Jimmy is dismayed when Perry White comes up and give Jimmy grief for all the spelling mistakes in the article.

Synopsis for "King For a Day"

The kingdom of Doryania has been under the despotic rule of the dictator Kobal who had seized power of the country when the Prince Otho was exiled from the country 10 years previous. However, civil unrest has grown to a level where the people have demanded their true prince back from the United States. When the story reaches the Daily Planet, Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen decide to cover the story for the Daily Planet.

When assassins try to eliminate Prince Otho, Superman stops them, and Jimmy and Clark Kent accompany the prince back to Doryania. There, Otho gives Jimmy his ring to try on, and their close resemblance makes the people in the country mistake Jimmy for Prince Otho. However, Kobal's men try to assassinate Jimmy at every turn. Thankfully Clark is around to secretly use his super-powers in order to prevent Jimmy from harm.

When Jimmy is framed for stealing from people, he is sent to the firing squad, but is saved at the last moment by Superman who exposes the assassination plot and when Otho returns to Doryania he resumes his rightful role, a position Jimmy is only too happy to relinquish.
