Synopsis for "Jimmy Olsen Marries Supergirl!"
Jimmy Olsen comes up with the idea of writing an article on Midvale Orphanage. He also brings with himself some trophies of his adventures to show to the children. After finishing his show, Jimmy is approached by former orphaned kid, Linda Danvers who is doing volunteer work at the Orphanage. Jimmy finds he quite likes Linda and decides to give her a piece of Red Kryptonite as a present. Linda can't escape, and the Red-K takes away her powers and her memories from being Kara-Zor-El and Supergirl.
Before leaving, Jimmy asks Linda out. Jimmy and Linda are completely smitten with each other during their date, so Linda accepts when Jimmy proposes her. The next day, Jimmy tells Superman the news. Kal is wondering why his cousin didn't tell him anything about getting married, but he soon deduces Red Kryptonite has erased her memories partially. Since they look happy, Superman decides to keep silent.
Linda and Jimmy go through with their wedding. Linda gets her powers and memories back after their honeymoon, and she wonders how to break the news to Jimmy. Worried about what the shock could do to her husband, she decides to break it to Jimmy gradually.
Kara first rescues Jimmy as Supergirl and reveals her origin. Then Supergirl saves Jimmy every time he is in danger as attempting to get him fall in love with her hero identity. Finally Jimmy admits to Linda he is in love with her and Kara. When Linda reveals they are the same person, Jimmy faints and Supergirl thinks she was right about breaking her secret to him gradually.

- Jimmy Olsen Marries Supergirl! was originally published as an imaginary story, a story outside of regular continuity. In Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium, it was retconned as having happened on another Earth, (Earth-57).
