Superman Adventures #20 is an issue of the series Superman Adventures (Volume 1) with a cover date of June, 1998.

Synopsis for "Hide 'n' Seek"

Superman arrives at multiple crime scenes too late during a crime wave by an armored thief called MasterTrax, who leaves no clues behind as to his motivations or whereabouts.

When MasterTrax attacks a shoe store, the SCU arrives but MasterTrax disappears before they can subdue him. As the crimes pile up, many rumors are spread about the reasoning behind the rampage.

At the Daily Planet, Jimmy shows Clark and Lois his portfolio, pointing out that someone who makes megamix tapes is always changing his music. Clark and Lois both come to the conclusion that a super-villain can be randomized just like music, and Lois heads to S.T.A.R. Labs. However, Superman gets there first and Professor Hamilton gives him a tracking device to find MasterTrax.

Superman checks every signal until he finds MasterTrax in an electronics store, who disappears but is quickly found again in a warehouse, where all of the stolen items are. MasterTrax is revealed to be a bunch of kids taking turns in a suit that automatically customized itself to each new wearer. As the kids are arrested, Lex Luthor tells Mercy to inform LexCorp that he will be visiting them regarding the "stolen" MasterTrax suit.
