Synopsis for "The Super-Switch to New York"

Supergirl undoes a twister threatening the campus, changes clothes quickly and heads to her office. She comes upon administrator Benjamin Pierce, who calls her on the carpet again for keeping odd hours. Linda reminds him that her contract says she makes her own hours and no one has ever complained about her or her performance but him. The argument escalates until Pierce insults her in public, and she angrily quits, giving Pierce a piece of her mind in the process.

Peter Barton, overhearing Linda's tirade, perceives her acting and vocal talent and insists she apply for a job with the soap opera Secret Hearts, whose star, Linda Larue, is leaving. Linda Danvers feels conflicted about it, but after a talk with her cousin, applies for the role and gets the job.

This necessitates a move to New York, so, to ward off suspicions, she has Supergirl start operations in the Big Apple a few days before Linda moves. In that time, she tracks down and captures a terrorist bomber. Linda finally arrives in New York City and signs a contract with the producers of Secret Hearts.
