Synopsis for "If Lex Luthor Were Superman's Father!"

Lex Luthor travels back in time to an alternate Krypton and tries to romance Lara Lor-Van so that he can become the father of Superman, but Jor-El thwarts his plans. Luthor returns to his normal time and universe and is captured by Superman.

Notes

  • "Superman's Mission for President Kennedy!" was reprinted in Superman in the Sixties.
  • Though "If Lex Luthor Were Superman's Father!" is not presented as an Imaginary Story or an alterante universe but an actual event involving time travel, it was revealed many years later, in Absolute Crisis on Infinite Earths (2006), to have happened on Earth-170 instead of Earth-One.
