Synopsis for "Can You Stump Superman?"

A “Can You Stump Superman?” contest is run on behalf of the Lung Foundation, and two crooks take advantage of it to try to plant a bomb in the Fortress of Solitude.

Notes

  • In the second story, the names and mannerisms of the low-standing crooks Lenny Hoss and George Feffer are allusions to the characters George Milton and Lennie Small of the popular 20th Century novel Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. At one point in this comic, Lenny Hoss is shown wearing a t-shirt with a rabbit on it, an animal which Lennie Small from the novel had a very particular fascination with.
