Notes
- This issue is reprinted in its entirety in Millennium Edition: Superman #76.
- "The Mightiest Team In the World" is reprinted in Superman: From the 30's to the 70's, Showcase Presents: World's Finest Vol 1, and World's Finest Comics #179.
- This is possibly the first canonical issue to take place in Earth-One continuity (retroactively). The events from this issue chronicle the first team-up between Superman and Batman, clearly marking this as an Earth-One event (The Earth-Two versions of Superman and Batman met years earlier during the early issues of World's Finest Comics. They also knew each other during their brief association with the Justice Society of America). The team-up from this issue chronologically takes place before the events from the flashback(s) presented in World's Finest Comics #94. If this issue is to be considered the first retroactive appearance of Earth-One, then it is also the first appearances of the Earth-One versions of Superman, Batman, Robin, Lois Lane and Commissioner Gordon. [1]
- A modernized retelling of "The Mightiest Team In the World" is presented in Superman/Batman Secret Files and Origins #1.
