Synopsis for "Jimmy's Day"

Jimmy Olsen and Kelly the intern witness a battle between Bizarro and an O.M.A.C. above Metropolis. Superman soon arrives. After saving the day, Superman leaves and then returns as Clark Kent, but Jimmy, unaware of Superman's dual identity treats him rudely. Unbeknownst to them, Bizarro had been watching the exchange, and formulates a plan. Back at the Daily Planet, Lois Lane warns Jimmy not to be so disrespectful toward Clark, returning to her office to find that her husband had been listening to her. Jimmy struggles with writing his article on the fight with the O.M.A.C., and is interrupted by a message from Bizarro in skywriting, leading him to a bank where the misguided Bizarro is robbing it of its garbage. This is in an attempt to give Jimmy a big story to cover, but Jimmy is obviously unimpressed, and Bizarro leaves to come up with a new plan. While brainstorming, Bizarro is accosted by Cheetah who attempts to invite him into the ranks of the Secret Society - but she finds his manner of speaking confusing. Meanwhile, Jimmy once again struggles with his article, when Clark arrives to give him a hand. They are interrupted, however, by Bizarro bursting through the window. He reveals that he left a trail of bread (actual loaves of bread) to his super-villain lair - a giant, holiday-themed shack full of explosives. When Superman intervenes, the explosives go off, but it turns out they're only fireworks. Bizarro intimates that his revenge against Jimmy's poor treatment of Clark was to make him the greatest newsman in the world. While confused, Superman is touched, and Bizarro says he will leave earth. Then, Jimmy and Clark reconcile. Later, Bizarro is seen to have joined Cheetah and Zoom.
