Synopsis for "Time & Time Again Phase Six: Camelot"

In Camelot, the demonic forces of Morgaine Le Fey mount a massive attack on the Pendragon castle. On every wall, the Knights of the Round Table feverishly repel Morgaine's forces, but the creatures outnumber the knights, and a new, unnamed knight garbed in black armor fights on the side of Moraine, turning the tide in her favor. Merlin observes the battle from one of the lookout towers, and tries to devise a way to turn the tide. Angry that Morgaine has somehow blocked his access to the time-stream, preventing him from summoning Shining Knight, Merlin realizes that he only has one course of action left. To his dismay, he summons the demon Etrigan, who enters the fray, happily tearing the hordes of demons to shreds. The knights see that Etrigan has joined them, and though they are grateful for the Demon's aid, they are annoyed that they must fight alongside a demon who has allegiance to Merlin, and not Arthur. Etrigan saves one man from a demon by roasting it in hellfire, and the man thanks him. Etrigan begins to reply, but trails off when he notices part of the castle crumbling under them. Etrigan leaps off the wall, and lands on the ground below, where he finds the black knight breaking one of the walls with his incredible strength. Etrigan attacks the knight, and the two opponents crash through the wall as they brutalize each other.

Meanwhile, Morgaine tells her son Mordred of her plans to rule Camelot, and how she needs to obtain the Eternity Book. Outside of the castle, Jason Blood and another peasant see the ruins of Camelot. Back in Metropolis, everyone settles in for the night. In Camelot, Etrigan's battle with the black knight rages on. The knight appears to be gaining the upper-hand, as he punches Etrigan into another wall. Etrigan quickly recovers, and blasts him with hellfire. The blast burns off the knight's armor, revealing his true identity, as Superman. Etrigan communicates with Merlin's astral for, and shows him Superman. Merlin teleports Superman to him, and uses a magical power on him, revealing Morgaine's power over him. Merlin makes physics contact with Superman, and looks into the past, and sees how he got to Camelot, how Morgaine blocked Merlin from entering the time-stream to summon Shining Knight, and how she captured the weakened Superman and put him under her control. Merlin casts a spell, removing Superman from Morgaine's magic, and conjures a suit of armor for the Man of Steel. He promises that if Superman fights for Camelot, he'll return the Man of Steel to his proper time. Superman dons the suit, and runs outside, where he meets Morgaine's forces in battle.

Merlin summons Etrigan, and gives him a page of the Eternity Book, and sends him forth to take up residence in a nearby human host until Merlin can recharge his mystical energies. While Merlin escapes, Superman confronts Morgaine and Mordred at the gates of Camelot. Morgaine tries to use her magic against the Kryptonian, but he upends a stone slab under her, knocking her off-balance. She blasts him, destroying his armor. As she and Mordred escape, Superman looks up and sees Merlin atop one of the lookout towers with the Eternity Book. Superman realizes too late what is happening, and Camelot explodes. Jason Blood sees the explosion from afar, and realizes that Camelot has fallen, but he doesn't realize that the nightmare of his relationship with Etrigan has just begun.
