Synopsis for "A Nightwing and a Prayer!"

Nightwing patrols Gotham City. He encounters a werewolf and begins fighting with him. He succeeds in incapacitating him and brings him back to the Batcave. Batman meanwhile, saves a young woman from a vampire. He smashes the creature's head against the wall, rendering it unconscious, then brings it back to the Batcave where Nightwing and he exchange notes. Analyzing the vampire, Batman discovers that it is highly susceptible to intense UV radiation. He decides to pay a visit to scientist Herbert Combs.

Elsewhere in the city, Herbert Combs' lab experiments get the better of him. A bizarre tentacled creature generates from inside his body and exits through his mouth. Batman arrives at the laboratory and begins fighting the monster. The fight spill over into the street and Batman succeeds in defeating the creature with some assistance from Marius Dimeter.

Another such monster appears nearby however and grows to massive proportions. Superman arrives and readies himself for battle.
