Synopsis for "Unnatural Habits, Part 2 of 3"

A Project Evergreen members steps forward to give Jepperd the answers he demands. She explains they were a government funded reclamation project. They re-purposed abandoned industrial spaces to become self-sustaining locations. They explain the real Walter Fish was their leader and made rules to not allow any outsiders into their facility once the plague hit. However, they broke the rule for Haggerty when he arrived.

One day when the project members had left the facility, Haggerty had killed everyone inside except the women, which he kept locked up. They have since been attempting to reclaim their home with traps outside the forest. They have been unsuccessful in capturing Haggerty. Jepperd takes one of their trucks and promises to free his friends realizing they've been duped. He orders Gus to stay behind with Doctor Singh.

Inside the Evergreen Research Dam House, Haggerty throws away his fake walking sticks. He knocks Lucy out and grabs Becky telling her he was watching her the whole time. He threatens Becky as Johnny and Bobby rush into the room to help her. He quickly knocks them both out and hog-ties Becky.

Singh begins pleading with Gus to leave with him. He tells him that Jepperd is bad for him and his father even warned him about it in his Bible that he had written. When Gus refuses, Singh grabs the boy and forces him into a vehicle where he takes off with him to Alaska.

As Jepperd speeds towards the home, he suddenly loses control and flips his vehicle. A man with an ax and his hybrid bird find Jepperd in the ditch.
