Synopsis for "First Encounter"

A team of special U.N. Agents explore a remote mountain lab, only to discover that Professor Jennings is dead. They also find some secret scientific devices the professor was working on — an electron belt, an invisibility cloak and a unique helmet. They gather their findings and report back to T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Headquarters.

Synopsis for "T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agent, NoMan"

Because Dr. Dunn is an old man in a wheelchair, he opts to have his mind transferred into the brain of one of a series of androids he perfected with Dr. Jennings. When the experiment is completed, Dunn has the power to transfer his mind into the body of any one of the duplicate androids. He is also given the cloak of invisibility, and now calls himself — NoMan.

Trivia

  • Menthor, who appears on the cover in the background, has a similar costume design and color scheme as the Atom from DC Comics. Perhaps this is due to Gil Kane being the illustrator for both these two characters, at the same time, in the 1960s.
