Earth-12[]

Since Earth-12 is where Batman Beyond is set, and Batman Beyond is also part of the DCAU, Earth-12 and DC Animated Universe need to be merged because they're one and the same. So, technically the DCAU is Earth-12. The two must be merged. -–The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pluto2 (talk • contribs).

No. Earth-12 is a multiverse world where a Terry is Batman. But that's all. For example, Hal Jordan III is Earth's GL, not Kai-Ro.
Also, the DCAU is a multiverse itself; it exists outside the 52 multiverse. --Tupka217 21:45, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

Pluto2 is referring to the new earth 12 p resented in the multiversity guidebook not the one from previous 52 multiverse and the guidebook shows that the green lantern of the new earth 12 is kai ro and evens shows the rest of the justice league unlimited the following was copied froM the notes pages of the new earths 12 and 50 The preceding unsigned comment was added by Justice beyond (talk • contribs).

Pluto2 wrote that in 2012. He was most definitely NOT referring to Earth 12. --Tupka217 23:56, March 14, 2015 (UTC)

New Hints[]

There have been multiple hints that this universe is analogous to Earth 12. We've been Brainiac in DCAU form a couple times (in both Futures End and in Convergence #0), and there are other hints that point to the universes being the same. Whatdo? TheD3xus (talk) 22:15, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

Timeline[]

Is there a distinct timeline for the DCAU? Obviously Batman Beyond and The Zeta Project take place in the future, but what about the rest? Asking because I started watching Justice League on DC Universe without knowing that Superman and Batman took place in the DCAU. Thermoxin (talk) 20:13, October 2, 2019 (UTC)

There've been several series, and Justice League builds on that. A rough guide on how to watch them:
  • Batman: The Animated Series season 1-3
    • Movie: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Origin story-ish
    • Movie: Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero
  • Superman: The Animated Series
  • Batman: The Animated Series seaspm 4 (aka The New Batman Adventures)
    • Movie: Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
  • Batman Beyond
    • Movie: Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
    • Optional: The Zeta Project
  • Justice League
    • Optional: Static Shock
  • Justice League Unlimited

That's roughly a production timeline, though several of these ran concurrently and there are some crossovers. --Tupka217 20:25, October 2, 2019 (UTC)
