In-Universe or Out-of-Universe?[]

Should this be re-written to be more "out-of-universe" (i.e. pretend it's all real)? Roygbiv666 22:33, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Since the characters themselves don't refer to it as the "DC Universe", the very title of the article to me indicates that it can probably stay out-of-universe. -Profzoom 04:26, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Just a quick sidenote, pretending it is real would be "in universe". --Khajidha (talk) 19:13, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

New Earth[]

Should we move/copy some of this to New Earth?--Roygbiv666 22:56, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

First Appearance[]

Shouldn't it be New Fun Comics #1? It's the first comic published by the company that would come to be known as DC. If not, then the Detective Comics #1 seems like the best bet, since Slam Bradley and company still existed when the idea of the cohesive DCU came into being. If neither of those are good enough, then the only other choice seems to be Action Comics #1 with Superman's first appearance. --BobLogical (talk) 03:18, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

Until Flashpoint[]

I question the use of the phrase "until flashpoint." Is the DCU not the DCU even after Flashpoint? Anything specific to New Earth should be on the New Earth page, and not preclude the inclusion of Post-Flashpoint information - or Pre-Crisis information, even. - Hatebunny (talk) 20:46, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

Main Protagonists[]

I believe the DC Universe has three main protagonists Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. The preceding unsigned comment was added by MullingarDeMedrid (talk • contribs).

Stories have protagonists. Shared universes don't. --Tupka217 (talk) 14:44, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

Typo[]

The section about the New 52 reboot mentions the merging of DC, Vertigo, and "Mindstorm." I assume that should be WildStorm. The page is protected so I'm not able to edit it but wanted to point this out. SirPixis (talk) 22:08, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
