Ivy Town is across the river from Calvin City, which is in Connecticut. Both sides of the Housatonic River are in Connecticut, but at one place it is very close to the New York state line, and also part of it is in Massachusetts. So Ivy Town could be in any one of those three states.
Atlas of the DC Universe lists it as being in Connecticut. Would it be correct for me to add some Connecticuts to the many Connecticut-less Appearances of Ivy Town? Starting with this very page? Stoop Davy Dave (talk) 12:06, December 16, 2018 (UTC)
Whew. That started sounding like a lot of work as soon as I got it typed out.
Related question: Given that IT has historically been located in different states, and that some of those appearances have been retconned away, by later appearances, is there a rule for selecting the CURRENT location of IT? For instance would the most recently published books be more canonical than earlier books? Or should they all be regarded with equal amounts of skepticism?
