First appearance[]

What should we list as his first appearance? Currently, it's TV premiere, 1996. However, he appeared in the main comics in Batman Adventures #25 (1994). And even before that, in Superman & Batman Magazine #1 (1993). Both versions were different from the TV version, but still presented as part of the bigger DCAU family. --Tupka217 13:38, December 29, 2014 (UTC)

Powers section[]

I think we should complete the Powers section with more accurate information. It should provide more context about Superman's powers in the DCAU. Leader Vladimir (talk) 14:04, April 15, 2015 (UTC)

Yes. And it should be properly sourced and templated. --Tupka217 14:08, April 15, 2015 (UTC)
Considering you keep undoing my edits, could you please tell me what am I doing wrong? Leader Vladimir (talk) 14:42, April 15, 2015 (UTC)
Do you even change anything? "Properly sourced and templated" it is not. Hence the revert.
  • You add source tags, but they're not the sources. Where in "The Call" was it explained that "Superman can live almost indefinitely if he resides under continuous exposure of Earth's sunlight"?
  • Look at the existing entry on the page for Mimicry. Does it have bolding or straight brackets? Nope. Use Powers Templates.
  • The normal cause of action for adapted characters is to just list the power, and one or two sources in ref tags behind them. There's no need to add elaboration unless something is explicitly elaborated upon. --Tupka217 14:47, April 15, 2015 (UTC)
Well, the DCAU does provide a little elaboration on Superman's powers. I was just following the example of the pre-Flashpoint continuity. Leader Vladimir (talk) 15:02, April 15, 2015 (UTC)

Superman's take-over by the Preserver.[]

The current version of the article says that he was captured by the Preserver at an "unknown time". That event happened in the Superman: The Animated Series two-part episode "The Main Man". Superman and Lobo ended up helping each other escape the Preserver. The scenes in Batman Beyond "The Call" were referencing that episode. Starro was indeed among the captives seen in "The Main Man". Image change[]

Can we change Superman's main image to Kal-El DCAU 002.jpg? It's less cluttered and doesn't have any other characters. -- MattTheNerd42 (talk) 01:59, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

I threw up the current as a placeholder, but there has to be better than this. --Tupka217 (talk) 18:27, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
The best ones I can find are all screenshots like that. Admittedly the best ones I found for other DCAU characters are also screenshots, but the others are better. -- MattTheNerd42 (talk) 00:05, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
Is there nothing in JLvsFatal5? --Tupka217 (talk) 08:59, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
