Is this the guy who was a member of JLAxis? And if so, wasn't he a part of Monarch's Army? I might be wrong, I remember that superman-knockoff as... blonder, but I'm trying to discern.

There are a couple possibilities. The first is that the blond was from an entirely different Earth. The JLAxis Earth was never named in Countdown to Adventure, after all. And there's nothing that says that Earth-10 is the only one where the Nazis won WWII. Plus, Overman seems more scientifically-oriented, while the GRKL had a noticeable religious bent to it, and also the GRKL speak English, which is supposedly a dead tongue on Earth-10.

Another possibility is that the Nazis cloned Overman to create the GRKL Superman.

And still another possibility is that Justin Gray and Trevor Moore just made up GRKL to try and stake a claim on Earth-10 (as Gray seems to have invested a hell of a lot of his time in developing the new Freedom Fighters.) I've heard rumors that many of the inconsistencies in DC continuity over the past year were caused by writers and artists hurrying to get their story arcs out before Final Crisis in case Morrison killed any of the characters they wanted to use...

Thank you very much, Gnostic, that was very informative.

The Comic Book Guy at my comic shop says Morrison gave DC extensive notes on Final Crisis years ago so they could co-ordinate the event of Countdown, but they didn't really follow the notes, so basically Countdown is irrelevent. Rumours..

Haha. That would explain the complete lack of relevant content. Whatever happened to that Monitoring the Monitors team of guys, Donna Troy, Ray Palmer, etc.? Or Lord Havok and the Extremists? Forerunner? That would explain where those things went.

Didn't Jimmy Olsen discover/realize Superman is Clark Kent, then leave with the other dudes at the end? Yet, here he is in Superman and doesn't seem to know the secret identity. WTF?

ROY! Shhhhh, he might hear you!

Minor?[]

Does this guy really need anything more than a minor character template?

He's already dead, right? Yeah, a downgrade might be in order.

Two Children[]

Where does "Eventually, Nazi scientists succeeded in seeding Overman's genetic material with two human children. One " come from? Citation? Roygbiv666 00:34, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
