Redirects?[]

North and South Korea really shouldn't be redirects to this. They're separate countries. The page for Korea could be used for any pre-1945 appearance of Korea, before the split. --Tupka217 19:51, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

Bumpity bump. --Tupka217 11:45, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
I agree but I don't want to go through the appearances myself. Kyletheobald (talk) 17:21, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
If we at least make the pages for North Korea and South Korea, I can run the bot to change appearances that are piped to one or the other, like [[Korea|South Korea]]. Hopefully, that'll save us some trouble. (I can do that anyway, but it would redlink until those pages exist)- Hatebunny (talk) 17:24, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
It's only 18 appearances. Don't need a bot for that, I'll bite that bullet.
So we're going for Korea for pre-1945 appearances (as well as pre-45 flashbacks, and stories by idiot writers who don't know it's not one country) and North Korea and South Korea for later. Category:Koreans should be for pre-45 and unknown Koreans, and the rest should be in South Koreans or North Koreans. Right? --Tupka217 17:30, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
Makes sense to me. - Hatebunny (talk) 17:32, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
Should we treat Russia/Soviet Union similarly? --Tupka217 20:37, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
I don't know. There are limites to the amount of catch-up I want to be playing with world politics. - Hatebunny (talk) 20:38, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
