Synopsis for "Covenant of Iron"

A knight of King Arthur's court by the name of Sir William is tricked when his love, Lady Tasmia is murdered and had Morgan Le Fay take her place. Under the ruse she almost convinced Sir William to slay King Arthur, but he managed to see through the ruse in time and slay the creature that Morgan had placed in his wife's place before the creature killed King Arthur. For saving Camelot his life was spared, however for this treason to the court, Merlin sentenced him to remain in Castle Bat, a dwelling that Morgan Le Fay had built to pose an invasion on Camelot. There Sir William has to dwell in the castle till he can perform enough noble acts through a magical suit of armor that he sends to do his bidding. Becoming known by the public as the Dark Knight, or commonly the Batman.

By the modern day, Batman has been tracking the superpowered thief Prysm where he confronts her at Deylight Laboratories in London in middle of kidnapping Dr. Irma Ardeen. The sight of Dr. Ardeen bear Batman a striking resemblance to Lady Tasmia before Prysm was able to escape with Ardeen. Believing that Dr. Ardeen is an reincarnation of Lady Tasmia, Batman flies away to rescue Ardeen in the hopes that saving her would break his curse.

Dr. Ardeen is brought before Prysm's employer King Kobra, a snake-themed villain, who intends to take advantage of Earth which all of its electronics are rendered obsolete from the Ultra-Humanite by having Dr. Ardeen's expertise into reactivating and backup his computers and satellite intel to guide his forces. Batman finally found King Kobra's base and subdued his Copperhead followers. King Kobra, seeing his losses is remote, attempts to kill Dr. Ardeen but only for the Batman to save the doctor and reflecting King Kobra's heat blast and igniting a firestorm which enveloped King Kobra and everyone within the facility. Batman carries Dr. Ardeen safely out of the conflagration. Upon seeing Dr. Ardeen face-to-face, Sir William realizes that she is not his lost love and is still cursed to remain alone in Castle Bat while continuing his noble deeds as Batman.
