Synopsis for "Forbidden Tomb"

After Korak rescues a young boy from a live burial, death follows their footsteps. As they walk through the jungle, villagers believe the boy has returned from the dead and is causing ill-fortune with his "evil eye." Synopsis for "Escape From Pellucidar!"

First, Tarzan rescues Empresses Dian from General Roag (a traitor in her ranks), and then he and Captain Hines travel to the moon of Pellucidar, by blimp, to rescue Korak, Princess Dav-An and David Innes from becoming dinner to several winged reptiles waiting for them in a feeding pool.

Synopsis for "Mars -- or Bust!"

Carson blasts off to Mars, but because of a miscalculation, he ends up on Venus instead. When he crash-lands to the surface, he is attacked by a pincher-clawed beast. Soon, three Venusians rescue him, and take him as their captive. Reprinted from Korak Son of Tarzan #46.

Synopsis for "Amazon of Barsoom"

A female is hatched from a rather large egg, and is promptly attacked by a lizard-man. She grabs his sword, and kills him. When her father arrives at the hatching, he is disappointed to find that his two sons were already eaten by the lizard, and only "a mere female" survives. Later, she saves her father from several demon-apes, and he proclaims that he's proud to have her as a daughter — the first Amazon of Mars.
