Quote1 You poor simple-minded savage! Do I have to put it in cave-man language? All right! Even with a broken arm, I can say it... SLAP! Quote2

Synopsis for "Tarzan and the Lion Man: Part Three"

While rescuing an actress from the clutches of an insane Ape God, Tarzan has become overwhelmed by several apes who are beating him with clubs. As the apes continue hitting him, the Ape God takes the woman to his side and screams for his apes to burn Tarzan alive. Flames begin to roar inside the English castle where this is all playing out. With the fire out of control, and crashing timbers falling all around, the Ape God orders his ape-men to take the captured woman to "King Henry's chambers." Tarzan then lassos a rafter with some found rope, swings down upon the Ape God, and the two surge out of the castle's window, away from the smoke and flames. Some distance away from the burning castle, Tarzan and his foe find Father Tobin (another speaking ape) and ask him to gather several "loyal subjects" to help rescue the captured woman.

Meanwhile, the woman is introduced to King Henry (another speaking ape). He proclaims her to be his queen. Suddenly, Tarzan busts into the castle's tower with his army of ape-men. A battle ensues and King Henry makes a hasty departure into the surrounding jungle with the captured woman.

The two go deeper into the strange jungle, and as King Henry is killed by an attacking lion, several Beast-Men confront the woman. High overhead, two onlookers (a savage/wild couple) swing down for the rescue, but the blond savage man grabs the woman and bolts through the trees with her. Out of jealousy, the wild-woman follows.

Tarzan treks through the jungle and spots a lion feasting on the dead ape -- King Henry. Swinging above the high branches, Tarzan encounters a band of Beast-Men who are battling the blond savage as the actress is cowering in the bole of a giant tree. Tarzan drops down and is immediately threaten by the savage man. As the man snarls and positions himself to strike Tarzan, the savage woman swoops down behind him chanting "Kill him!"

To be continued. Adapted from Edgar Rice Burroughs' novel, TARZAN AND THE LION MAN.
