History

Not much is known about Tasmia, except that she loves being in the Legion of Super-Heroes. She's currently dating Ultra Boy and asked Karate Kid to help him when Ultra Boy had trouble with controlling his powers. She has mistakenly thought that Ultra Boy was interested in Supergirl. When she and other legionnaires visited Talok VIII, they were surprised of the favor that she demanded, including a large banquet in her honour. She explained that it was because that she didn't want to look aloof (by not accepting such gifts). She has a friendly rivalry with her brother Grev.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Darkness Manipulation: can cast darkfields preventing all light from reaching an area from outside. These can either be complete, effectively rendering useless all light sources within the area, or hollow to allow the interior to be lit. She can also solidify these fields, to use as a more direct weapon. Shadow Lass has the power to create darkness 100 times darker than night. Her black shadows are impenetrable by light.

Shadow Lass can project protective shadows around persons she cannot see and are elsewhere in a city.

• Shadow-Sight: She has shadow-sensitive eyes that give her the ability to see in darkness. She can draw strength from the slightest shadow or dark corner. She can also build up her power by wrapping her face in the folds of her cape and shielding her eyes from glare. As she expands her shadow nearer to light sources the pressure becomes greater, her mind feeling like it's on fire.
