HistoryEdit

Tawna was a humanoid tiger-woman and one of the many genetically evolved experiments conducted by Project Moreau in the 1940s. She resided on an uncharted island called the Wild Lands and was a citizen of the capital city of Roam. In the modern era, she was the royal consort and betrothed of Prince Tuftan. Tuftan succeeded in capturing the amnesiac Superboy and presented him to Lady Tawna as a gift. Soon after however, Superboy saved the life of Tuftan's father, Great Caesar, and Tawna and Tuftan befriended the young hero. Tawna accompanied them on a mission to Sacker's trading post to liberate several human slaves. She then journeyed with Tuftan, Superboy and the royal bodyguards, the Wild Men to Hawaii and was present when an invasion forced led by Nosferata landed at Pearl Harbor. Nosferata had Great Caesar killed and blackmailed Prince Tuftan into marrying her instead of Lady Tawna. Reluctantly, Tuftan understood that the duties of the crown must always come first, and he agreed to make Nosferata his queen.
