Team Zero #6 is an issue of the series Team Zero (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 2006. It was published on May 3, 2006.

Synopsis for "Team Zero, Part Six"

Despite betraying his team to the Russians, Bullet is force across a minefield at gunpoint by a tank to prove that the field is fake. Miraculously the tank is exploded by a landmine allowing Bullet to run away. Deathblow observes this and acknowledge Bullet's betrayal. Bullet reaches to the village and is greeted by Backlash, who he then kills Bullet. The Russians finally gain access into Karlshagen.

Grifter and Inge are stop at a German checkpoint. Inge reveals to Grifter that she intended to lead themselves into German hands and rush out telling the unseen soldiers that she is turning in Grifter. However, she is then gun down as British soldiers come to the truck, revealing that the checkpoint is guarded by the British. Grifter learns from them of their presence in regarding to a German missile plant they had captured and tells them of Team Zero's near-botched mission.

In Karlshagen, Team Zero and the German recruits are overrun as Cowboy and Deadeye are killed. Only Deathblow, Backlash and a few younger Germans remains. Deathblow gives his last orders to Backlash to take himself and his recruits away from the village. He instead intends to die while fighting to the end, as he runs up to a group of Russian soldiers and carries a primed grenade as it then explodes.

Outside of Karlshagen, Backlash tells the recruits to abandon their weapons and uniforms, and go back to their homes, in which they do. As he watch them leave, Backlash states to himself that he will always be in another war.

Meanwhile, Grifter is being transfer by plane. A English colonel tells him that his mission is a overall failure as the British had already took the spoils on the rocket program. However, Grifter tells him that his mission made him learn something: "you can't count your take until the race is over and the last card is dealt. I know where my money's placed."
