Synopsis for "Devil May Care"

Kid Devil hangs out in front of the mystical doorway leading to the Oblivion Bar, waiting for someone with proper access, so he can piggyback inside. He finds Witchfire entering the bar, and sneaks in behind her. Landing inside, he falls on his rump and sheepishly asks owner/bartender Eddie Deacon for a beer. Eddie chides Kid Devil, citing that he's not even twenty-one, and Eddie soon leaves. Kid Devil reflects on his own history, particularly the events that brought him into contact with his boyhood hero, Blue Devil. He recalls the day that he was first introduced to stuntman Daniel Cassidy – the man who would be working on the set for the Blue Devil feature film.

Flashback
Eddie was present when Cassidy was first trapped inside the Blue Devil costume, as well as his first epic battle with the demon, Nebiros. Cassidy used his costume to drive the demon back, but not before being blasted with mystical energy. After the fight, Cassidy found that the blast had permanently grafted the Blue Devil costume to his body. Eddie Bloomberg eventually built his own costume based on Blue Devil's designs and began calling himself Kid Devil. After Eddie's Aunt Marla died in a helicopter crash, Eddie attempted to live up to her name and succeed in the movie business. His attempts failed, however, and Eddie continued to have adventures as Kid Devil.

Less than a year ago, Eddie was trying to locate Daniel Cassidy. He wanted to gain super powers just like his hero, and was ready to tackle any obstacle to achieve his goals. He met one of Daniel’s old friends, Sebastian Faust, who told him that Danny left on a search to find the Red Jar of Calythos. Eddie's search brought him to Metropolis, where he encountered several young neophyte heroes who had taken part in Lex Luthor's Everyman Project. Eddie hoped to enlist in the Project, but was rejected following a psychological evaluation. Shortly thereafter, Eddie encountered a mysterious being who offered him a mystic candle. Unsure of what to do with it, Eddie consulted with the teen-magician known as Zachary Zatara. He lit the candle before Zachary and was instantly transported to an Underworld realm in Hell. Neron made Eddie Bloomberg an offer. He offered to grant Eddie the power that he desired, but if for any reason the trust between Daniel Cassidy and himself were ever broken, then Eddie would have to become Neron's protégé following his twentieth birthday. Eddie agreed, and Neron transformed him into a true demon. Moments later, Neron revealed that Blue Devil was secretly responsible for the death of Eddie’s aunt, Marla Bloom.

Kid Devil returned to Earth and found his old mentor. He asked him about the death of Marla Bloom, and Blue Devil revealed that he was in fact responsible (albeit accidentally) for her death. Knowing that the trust between them was shattered, Kid Devil fled in horror, fearful that before long, his soul would belong to Neron.

The Present
After reflecting on the recent path at great length, Kid Devil returns to Titans Tower. He walks inside and smiles, as if everything is perfectly fine.

Elsewhere, Neron laughs to himself as he plays with a glowing sphere containing the soul of Marla Bloom.

Synopsis for "Titans East (Part I)"

Ravager brings her brother Jericho to New York City so that he can stay at Nightwing's place until he can adjust to being alive again.

Back at Titans Tower, Robin asks Raven if the means by which she resurrected Jericho could be used to bring Superboy back. Raven says that it cannot, as Jericho's soul was still dormant on the Earthly plane. Superboy's soul however, has since moved on.

Suddenly, Titans Tower comes under attack by Inertia. He is wearing the costume of Kid Flash, formerly worn by his rival, Bart Allen. Accompanying him is a Bizarro version of Superboy known as Match. While Robin and Raven remain stunned, Match attacks Wonder Girl.

In Louisiana, Cyborg brings Miss Martian to Belle Reve prison. He wants her to use her telepathic powers to interrogate Bombshell. Miss Martian is reluctant to use her abilities for such an invasive process, but agrees nonetheless.

As Miss Martian and Bombshell exchange quips, a new group of Titans burst through the wall and begin attacking. This group, headed by Deathstroke the Terminator, is Titans East. Batgirl leaps over everyone’s heads and slices Bombshell's throat open with a razor-sharp batarang.

While Duela Dent, Risk and the Joker's daughter keep Cyborg on the defensive, Sungirl unleashes a burst of flame which greatly injures Miss Martian.

In Los Feliz, California, Kid Devil enters a church where he encounters a costumed character named Kid Crusader. As Crusader attacks Eddie, he reveals that he too is aligned with Deathstroke. Deathstroke meanwhile, is actually at Titans Tower. He tells Robin that he plans on taking away everything that the Titans once took from him – family.

In New York, Jericho and Ravager are shocked to find a large wooden effigy of the original Titans Tower standing on the spot where the first tower once stood.

Synopsis for "Titans East (Part II)"

Ravager and Jericho go inside the newly rebuilt Titans Tower. Deathstroke appears, declaring his vow to reunite his family. Jericho hurls a throwing star at him, but Slade catches it inches before striking his face. Ravager leaps forward, withdrawing both swords from their scabbards.

Meanwhile, Wonder Girl awakens. She is inside Superman's Fortress of Solitude. Match appears before her, mumbling his affection for her in Bizarro-speak. Without the benefit of her Lass of Lightning, Wonder Girl charges towards the failed clone.

Elsewhere, Kid Crusader performs an exorcism on the captured Kid Devil. The demonic impurity of Kid Devil's soul pours from his mouth in a large red cloud, transforming him back into a normal boy. To save his soul eternal however, Kid Crusader declares that Eddie Bloomberg must die.

Back at Titans Tower, Jericho leaps onto Deathstroke and begins fighting him. While father and son are engaged in deadly combat, Batgirl races up behind Ravager. Ravager spins around and kicks her through a window. Deathstroke beats Jericho down, and then turns his attention onto Robin. Jericho rises up however and impales his father with Deathstroke's own sword. Batgirl knocks Ravager down with a swift kick to the chin.

Elsewhere, Cyborg and Raven experience their own private Hells. Harlequin and the Riddler's Daughter torment Raven with images of her past, while Risk avenges his own misfortunes by torturing Cyborg.

Sungirl and Inertia meanwhile capture Miss Martian and torment her by slowly setting her skin on fire.

After dealing with Ravager, Batgirl attacks Robin. Robin knows that Deathstroke has been feeding Cassandra a special drug that has turned her evil. Having prepared for just such a situation, he pulls a counter-agent from his utility belt and injects it into Batgirl's throat. With her mind free for the first time in almost a year, Batgirl swears vengeance against Deathstroke.

Synopsis for "Titans East (Part III)"

Batgirl dives on top of Deathstroke while Jericho takes physical control of Inertia. As Inertia, he grabs Deathstroke from Batgirl and smashes him into a wall. Joey knows that Cassandra intended on killing his father.

Meanwhile, Engima and Duela Dent take turns pounding on Raven. Raven decides to take advantage of Duela's aloof nature and invites her to join her team of Teen Titans. Duela happily agrees and punches Enigma. Raven then convinces her to "play a joke" on Deathstroke. They work together and assist Cyborg in fighting Risk.

Kid Crusader meanwhile, conducts a ritual to exorcise the demonic essence from out of Kid Devil. He absorbs the infernal power into himself. Kid Devil runs away and finds Miss Martian.

Wonder Girl and Robin continue to fight with Match. Wonder Girl's emotions run wild, and she despises this walking mockery to Conner’s memory. Both of them leap about avoiding Match's heat-vision blasts.

Miss Martian, Kid Devil and Batgirl meet up with Wonder Girl and Robin. They unite and rush headlong against the Titans East members. Members of both teams shout out, "Titans Together!" and the beach surrounding Titans Island erupts into chaos.

Deathstroke comes upon Jericho's unconscious body. Ravager sneaks up behind him, prepared to cut him down with her sword, but Slade spins about and blocks her thrust. Inertia (now free of Joey’s control), races behind her and knocks her unconscious. Deathstroke grabs Jericho's body and walks away from the tower.

As he regroups with the rest of his team, he finds that the Teen Titans have received some back up. Nightwing, Flash, Beast Boy and Donna Troy approach him. Nightwing shouts at Deathstroke to "get the Hell off our island".

Synopsis for "Titans East (Part IV)"

The Titans and Titan Reserves charge towards the evil Titans East. Cyborg takes on Risk, while Miss Martian blasts Sungirl with her Martian vision. Raven engages Kid Crusader and tries to temper his recently acquired demonic essence. Nightwing squares off with Deathstroke. He kicks Nightwing in the back of the head, then crosses swords with his daughter, Ravager. Harlequin keeps punching on Enigma while endlessly repeating the battle cry, "Titans Together!"

Raven can use her powers to cure Kid Crusader, but only if Eddie agrees to re-absorb the demonic entity. Raven is unaware of the deal that Eddie made with Neron. Reluctantly, Eddie agrees. Raven transfers Kid Crusader’s demonic essence back into Kid Devil.

On the beach, Robin and Wonder Girl continue their fight against Match. Match grabs Cassie by the throat, but their fight is disrupted as Flash and Inertia blaze past them. Flash breaks Inertia's legs, then picks him up and hurls him into Match.

Batgirl tries to kill Deathstroke, but Nightwing stops her. He wants to imprison Slade, not kill him. The fight continues, until finally, Deathstroke breaks into a sprint towards Titans Tower. The faux tower suddenly collapses upon itself and Deathstroke and Inertia are unaccounted for.

Later, Deathstroke muses to himself the true reason behind the formation of Titans East. Realizing that he could never be a true father to Rose and Joey, he instead manipulated the entire affair so as to strengthen their family ties with the Teen Titans.

Synopsis for "Of Clowns and Clones"

The Teen Titans, along with Nightwing and Donna Troy fly out to bury the recently fallen Titan, Duela Dent. Although Duela fought against them as a member of Titans East, she proved her mettle when she betrayed her former colleagues and joined the Titans. Now, she is dead, having been shot in the back by a violent member of the Monitors.

After the funeral, the team splits up to begin investigating her murder. They know of two witnesses to the crime. The first is Tracey Angel, the starlet whom Harlequin idolized and briefly abducted. The second is Jason Todd – the Red Hood. The Titans fly out to New York where Tracey is filming an action movie. While Ravager flirts with one of the stuntmen, Donna and Cassie have a heartfelt conversation concerning Conner. Cassie has never recovered from his death. Nightwing and Robin interview Tracey, who tells them about the Red Hood.

They then track down Jason Todd. Todd knows little about the incident, save for the fact that Duela was killed by someone of alien origin. Tempers flare between the heroes, and Donna has to restrain Nightwing from attacking the brash Jason Todd. Robin however, feels no such reservation, and kicks Todd in the crotch.

In San Francisco, the rest of the team take Match back to Titans Tower. Jericho is still in possession of Match's body, but the clone's instinctive rage is slowly winning out over Jericho and he begins to lose control. Before the Titans can find a way to properly restrain him, Match regains command of his body and attacks them. Kid Devil counters Match's arctic breath with fire breath, and Beast Boy takes the form of a grizzly bear and grapples with him.

In New York, Cassie, Donna, Dick, Tim, and Rose visit the crime scene where Duela was shot. A bright flash of light appears in the sky above them, and a mysterious voice shouts, "Nightwing, Donna Troy. I have this under control. Forget the case, or you'll find something that wants you dead, too". The voice and light suddenly disappear. Disturbed by the visitation, the group heads back to California.

When they arrive at Titans Tower, they find the rest of their teammates still locked in battle with Match. Wonder Girl's presence reaches a soft spot within Match's psyche, and he calms down long enough for Jericho to reassert control.

Some time later, Cassie flies out to New York to visit her friend, Supergirl. The two are watching television when they see news footage of an army of Amazons attacking Washington.
