Synopsis for "Titans East (Part II of IV)"

Ravager and Jericho go inside the newly rebuilt Titans Tower. Deathstroke appears, declaring his vow to reunite his family. Jericho hurls a throwing star at him, but Slade catches it inches before striking his face. Ravager leaps forward, withdrawing both swords from their scabbards.

Meanwhile, Wonder Girl awakens. She is inside Superman's Fortress of Solitude. Match appears before her, mumbling his affection for her in Bizarro-speak. Without the benefit of her Lass of Lightning, Wonder Girl charges towards the failed clone.

Elsewhere, Kid Crusader performs an exorcism on the captured Kid Devil. The demonic impurity of Kid Devil's soul pours from his mouth in a large red cloud, transforming him back into a normal boy. To save his soul eternal however, Kid Crusader declares that Eddie Bloomberg must die.

Back at Titans Tower, Jericho leaps onto Deathstroke and begins fighting him. While father and son are engaged in deadly combat, Batgirl races up behind Ravager. Ravager spins around and kicks her through a window. Deathstroke beats Jericho down, and then turns his attention onto Robin. Jericho rises up however and impales his father with Deathstroke's own sword. Batgirl knocks Ravager down with a swift kick to the chin.

Elsewhere, Cyborg and Raven experience their own private Hells. Harlequin and the Riddler's Daughter torment Raven with images of her past, while Risk avenges his own misfortunes by torturing Cyborg.

Sungirl and Inertia meanwhile capture Miss Martian and torment her by slowly setting her skin on fire.

After dealing with Ravager, Batgirl attacks Robin. Robin knows that Deathstroke has been feeding Cassandra a special drug that has turned her evil. Having prepared for just such a situation, he pulls a counter-agent from his utility belt and injects it into Batgirl's throat. With her mind free for the first time in almost a year, Batgirl swears vengeance against Deathstroke.

Notes

  • The chemical used to warp Batgirl's mind, is the same drug that drove Ravager temporarily insane.

Trivia

  • Deathstroke's mask is equipped with a special lens, which prevents Jericho's possession power from working on him.
