Terry Austin (b. August 23, 1952) is a comic book artist.

Professional History

Terry Austin is an American comic book artist and inker. He began his career in 1975 along Neal Adams. His first published work was for Power Records in the title A Story of Dracula, The Wolfman and Frankenstein. The issue was a colaboraton between Austin, Adams and Dick Giordano. His first work for DC Comics was Flash #233. He would continue to work on titles as Batman; Detective Comics; Superman; Action Comics; among others. He also worked for major companies as Marvel Comics and Dark Horse.

He is probably best known for his inking of John Byrne's pencils on The Uncanny X-Men.

Personal History

Austin was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Wayne State University. He currently lives in Poughkeepsie, New York.
