Injustice: Year One

Black Adam fights several members of the Justice League in Kahndaq after a country fires a shell into his domain. In a frenzy, Black Adam goes on a killing rampage and destroys the town he believes the shell was fired from. He rips off Cyborg's arm before being apprehended by Wonder Woman and Superman. Diana bounds Teth-Adam with her Lasso of Truth in order to ask Adam if there is a way for him to stop killing people. Adam says that nothing will stop him, and tells Shazam that he is choosing the same path as Adam: he will bring peace to his world through fear. Diana forces Adam to say his magic word, Shazam!, changing him back into Teth-Adam. He survives the transformation, but cannot speak his word to change back to Black Adam after Diana covers his mouth.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Black Adam appears to the Insurgents in their base alongside Wonder Woman, intending to destroy them. Regime Wonder Woman is defeated by Green Arrow, who then proceeds to assist in taking Black Adam down. When the Insurgents bring Teth-Adam to the ground, he unleashes a lightning shockwave leaving only Oliver standing. Ollie proceeds to defeat Adam, and he leaves the base.

Later, when the alternate Superman arrives, Teth-Adam hurls cars at the Kryptonian to try and weaken him. When this fails, the two fight and Kal-El emerges as the winner. Before he can retaliate, Superman freezes Black Adam with his frost breath.

The defeat of Superman taught Black Adam one thing: most of Earth's denizens were too weak to adopt Kahndaq's visionary form of government. He returned to his homeland with a new plan.

Combining their energies, Black Adam and his empress, Isis, created a mystical barrier around Kahndaq. There, they reigned in peace. Their country, an oasis in the wasteland of human civilization. A true oasis, once Black Adam destroyed all other life on Earth.
