Synopsis for "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers, Part One"

The Authority, with the exception of Apollo and Midnighter, went on a three-day negotiation with a diplomatic envoy belonging to a transdimensional alien race, known as the Rakulai, concerning over Earth's protection. However, matters turned soured as the Authority returned to the Carrier horribly deformed and incapacitated by the aliens, which leaving Apollo and Midnighter the only heroes to handle the situation as the Rakulai demands for something or else their entire fleet will annihilate the Earth on the deadline.

In Hereford, Kev Hawkins visit his friends at The Teeth In A Basket and learning that Bob Carter has become a successful biographer on his life serving in the S.A.S. and had invite him over to see the book signing. He is then unexpectedly met by his government contact Froggett who has come in notifying that his boss needs him in London. Following his attendance at Bob's book signing, Kev heads to his boss's office and find to his horror that Apollo and Midnighter are there as well, believing that they have come back to settle the score after their first encounter. But he is corrected by his boss who tells that the duo have come to collect him as he is "going to save the world."
