Synopsis for "The Name of the Game Part 2"
Rayner looked at files while Butcher spoke to Hughie and talked about their dislike of Shih Tzus. At Jittery Bean, the Frenchman was talking about his love life when other customers insulted him, provoking him and causing him to attack them all. However, upon seeing Butcher, he calmed down and embraced him. As Terror was crushing a Shih Tzu, Butcher walked with Hughie and introduced himself to him before offering his condolences for the loss of Robin and informed him of his team whose function was to stop incidents such as that from happening.
The Female of the Species knocked on and stared at a door before someone opened it. Butcher observed as she was allowed to enter and killed everyone inside. Later, Butcher told Hughie that he worked for the C.I.A., as they were the ones with the resources to take down supes before attempting to convince him to join his team. Butcher visited Mother's Milk and attempted to recruit him, although the latter claimed that he was busy "making a difference" by working with kids in his community. When M.M.'s rebellious daughter Janine attempted to leave with two friends, Butcher scared them away before lashing out at her and ordering her to give respect to her father.
Hughie told Butcher that he could not join the team before the Englishman claimed that A-Train laughed about Robin and learned this by bugging the Seven's H.Q. Butcher told Hughie that they could make an impression on supes through "ways and means" despite their superpowers, then threw him an envelope with $200 and told him to stay in New York for a week or two and contact him and his allies before the two parted ways.
