Synopsis for "The Wild Storm: Chapter Two"

In her flying armor, Angela Spica lands in front of the gates of Camp Hero, a decommissioned radar station in Long Island. Forcefully cutting through the chains and boards, she enters the building, making a line for a bunker sub-basement. Hacking into the primitive computer running the door, she finds herself in a large room, and locks herself in. She takes a bottle of water from a nearby fridge, then grabs a blanket and sits on the couch... where she deactivates her armor and bursts into tears.

In New York, Miles Craven is having a meeting with Ivana Baiul and Jacklyn King. The prognosis is bad: Angela Spica's flying suit was built using stealth technology which she reverse-engineered from a spaceship that they "found". A spaceship whose original owners, Skywatch, will now come looking for her. Meanwhile, the assassination that Spica was preventing was the head of a major corporation, who will now use his resources to find the culprit. Their only hope of success now is to catch Spica first, cut the contraband tech out of her corpse, and hand it over to Skywatch.

In Brooklyn, Jacob Marlowe is meeting with a paranoid man named Cole Cash, who he is tasking with finding Angela Spica. Cole's co-worker, Kenesha, enters the room and points out that Angela's electrogravitic trail peters out over Montauk, and guesses she went to Camp Hero. Cole promises Jacob he'll check it out, and Jacob leaves.

In New York, Lucy Blaze is doing office work when a man walks past her desk after shouting at her boss. She and the man make eye contact, and clearly neither respects the other. Lucy then gets called by her boss, who explains that that man was Henry Bendix, the ultimate head of their organization, and that he wants them to investigate the saving of Jacob Marlowe. Lucy bridles at this: the woman who saved Marlowe performed the act at personal cost, and running her to ground goes against Lucy's code. Her boss shrugs this off and gives her the order.

At sunset, Michael Cray appears outside his therapist's house and asks to talk. She is surprised, but she agrees, and the two go to the park, where he explains that the "private security firm" he works for may have bugged her office. She admits that she suspects that he is lying about his employer. He confesses that he tried to assassinate Jacob Marlowe, on the say-so of his employers and for the good of the world. However, in the medical workup afterwards, he discovered that he has an inoperable brain tumor.

At I.O., Jacklyn King tells Miles Craven that her teams have found an alarm at the shelter in Camp Hero, and that she suspects this is where Angela Spica hides. Craven tells her to get the covert action team that was assigned to finding Spica in a chopper headed there, and that he needs her intact but not necessarily alive.

In Brooklyn, Cole, Kenesha and Adrianna Tereshkova are ready to go to Camp Hero. Cole is grumpy, saying he doesn't like going in blind, but Adrianna reminds him that people like them know what it means to be utterly without allies, and they can help her.

At Adrianna's gesture of command, pink-red energy bleeds out of the air around them and surrounds them, showing a vista of pink spheres against a backdrop of a lightning storm. When it vanishes, so do they...
