History

Tom Kirk is a detective for the Gotham City Police Department. Kirk began investigating the actions of a serial killer known as Eddie the Machete. During the investigation, Tom learned about the existence of Gotham's "grotesque guardian" Simon Dark. Tom has also developed a romantic interest in Gotham County coroner Beth Granger. Time later, Tom revealed he has regeneration powers similar to Simon's. Afterwards he retelled how he was killed while in service and revived by a group of scientists.
