Hello Hatebunny! I am rather new to this wiki and was wondering how do you manage all this? Do not get me wrong, I run a smaller wiki myself, but I can't comprehend how you manage all this. Forgive me if I am being a bit strange, but come on over 80,000 pages!
I would also like to ask if you have seen the new Batman movie? I saw it in the weekend (it was very good). Have you seen the new trailer for Man Of Steel?
Anyway, sorry to bother you. Keep up the good work!
Signed Michael
Hi, there are about six active admins who spend a lot of time keeping a watch on things around here. Personally, I get an email notification whenever anyone edits on one of the 6000 or so content pages that I'm following. Meanwhile, we tend to just troll around the recent wiki activity to make sure no one's made any big mistakes.
That said, thousands of those 80,000 pages almost never get any edits on them (mostly obscure golden age and romance comics). Most new editors tend to focus on what's new and exciting instead of what's come before - and that's fine and good, but we're always looking for people to take an interest in the other stuff.
I just saw the new Batman movie last night. It was awesome. It had the preview for Man of Steel on it too, and I thought that despite a few weird casting choices, it looks like it'll be visually very interesting, even if I don't know anything about the plot.
No bother. Let me or anyone of the other Administrators know if you have any questions about editing. (And if you do have questions, make sure you ask them, or you might end up making the kind of mistake that sets off the more trigger-happy administrators)!
