  • Wikia’s preparing to take San Diego Comic-Con by storm along with a legion of #WikiaLive superfans! We know many of you are already going, but WE WANT YOU to enlist in our “Fan Army.”

Tell us you’re going by filling out this form and -- as we’ve done in year’s past -- we’ll do what we can to give those of you among our ranks an awesome fan experience. That may include VIP perks like celeb meet ‘n’ greets, party access, and other fun opportunities!

We’ll start right now! We have room for six Los Angeles-based fans to ride in our train down to San Diego (departing the morning of Wednesday, July 23)... absolutely free! We’ll even throw in a ticket BACK to L.A. (we’re not gonna leave you stranded). The first six Angelenos to sign up will receive an email invite from us.

So... Are you going to Comic-Con? Click here to send us your info!

    • Interesting. I wonder if the people going this year are the same wikia people who went last year. I'm curious because I live in LA and I contacted one of the wikia people (I don't remember his name) asking about taking the train down there with them and he politely told me to buzz off.

    • Eh. With the internet available now, comic cons aren't the bargain buying opportunity that they once were. When I was collecting comics, I would go to the monthly LA con to pick up cheap comics from bargain bins, but it's possible to use ebay and other internet resources to find low prices today. If I were still collecting, I don't think I'd bother attending cons. They've gotten more marketing-oriented than they used to be.
