Synopsis for "Time Out of Joint"
After Dr. Tremain's time machine malfunctioned, Max Mercury and Impulse find themselves in an alternate reality, where Tremain has taken over the world. But the time stream is unstable, and the two speedsters keep bouncing around alternate realities, even turning into apes at one point. They eventually end up back at the Devonian Age, and Impulse realizes a mosquito he swatted caused all the problems. So he stops himself from squishing the bug and everything returns to normal, with the exception of Tremain now being a janitor instead of a super villain. And once he gets back home, Bart decides to shave his head.
