Notes
- This version of Samurai is exclusive to the continuity of the Super Friends animated television series. However, an Earth-One counterpart to the Samurai made a cameo appearance in Super Powers (Volume 3).
- The Samurai ususally relied upon a spoken mantra in order to activate his powers. The most commonly used phrase was "Kaze no Yō ni Hayaku!" ("[go] fast like the wind!")
- Actor Jack Angel provided the voice for the Samurai.
- Samurai had an action figure in the Super Powers Collection line produced by Kenner.
- The concept surrounding Samurai, like the other heroes exclusive to Super Friends (with the exception of El Dorado), was reinvented for the Ultimen (a Cadmus Project-sanctioned superhero team) in the Justice League Unlimited series. His spiritual successor was Wind Dragon.
