History

The Transmatter Cube was a device located on the Justice League Satellite. A similar device was located at JSA Headquarters on Earth-Two. Both teams utilized the Transmatter Cubes in order to visit each other's respective realities for their annual JLA/JSA team-up. In one instance, the Earth-Two Transmatter Cube malfunctioned (due to the machinations of Per Degaton) and shunted the JSA to an alternate future version of Earth-Prime. On another occasion, the accidental interference of the Red Tornado caused a different mishap wherein alternating heroes from both Earth-One and Earth-Two were transported to another dimension called Earth-X. On Earth-X, World War II never ended, and Hitler's legacy had spread all the way to the United States. [1] Presumably, when the Justice League Satellite was destroyed during the Martian invasion, the Transmatter Cube was destroyed as well.

Notes

  • The Transmatter cube is exclusive to Earth-One/Earth-Two continuity. To date, no such item exists in the current JLA Headquarters.
