Synopsis for "Chapter 3: Telemetry"
Nika flashes back to being separated from her father as a child - she and her mother were allowed on an escape vessel and her father was not. Nika wakes up in the med bay, in her own time. She tries to explain what she had seen - finding the Trillium and the temple being a massive teleportation device that sent her through time, but Commander Pohl thinks she is delirious. Pohl orders that Nika stays in med bay while she explains that due to the Caul arriving, they are launching an extraction mission at dawn to collect the Trillium, even though Nika objects. Nika feels that the Trillium belongs to the "aliens" that she saw.
Meanwhile, William Pike tries to convince Clayton that he is not crazy and that he really did meet a strange woman. Clayton insists that they need to get away before the "savages" attack them, but William is set on finding the lady that went inside the temple. Clayton finally concedes and pulls out some dynamite to blast his way into the temple.
Back in the med bay, Nika makes a daring escape, with the help of her program "Essie."
William ingests the strange flower and passes out as Clayton lights the fuse to the dynamite. Clayton is shocked at what he sees inside as he enters.
Nika makes her way to the Atabithians and tries to warns them of the impending attack. The Atabithians know that it is too late and they usher Nika into the temple. She exits out of the temple and finds William. However, Clayton finds the Atabithians whom are now fully under attack. Some of the attack ships even teleport through to William's time...
