History

Urrika was one of two major continents found on the planet, Krypton; the other was Lurvan. The region was originally discovered by the great explorer, Val-El of the noble House of El. In Kryptonian year 9846, the allied nations of Urrika waged what was commonly referred to as the Last War against the city-states of Lurvan. Due to the efforts of military commander, General Pir-El and Kandorian scientist, Jes-Mo, the war eventually ended and members of the newly established Kryptonian Science Council made peace with the nations of Urrika.

Notes

• This version of Urrika, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the Multiverse in the 1985-86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series and is now considered apocryphal.
• The concept of Erkol was created by writer/editor E. Nelson Bridwell.
