The Characters
Batman
Batman has retired from the Batman mantle after the death of the second Robin, Jason Todd, but, during this ten year retirement, Gotham City has been overwhelmed with crime and plagued by a violent gang called "The Mutants." Now 55 years old, Bruce decided to take on the role of Batman again, and he is able to bring some of the gang members under his control (making them "Sons of Batman") transforming them into vigilantes who maintain law and order with force.
Superman
Also known as Clark Kent, Superman is a military super-agent for the United States government. Unlike Batman, who is now middle-aged, Superman has remained (at least physically) in his early to mid-thirties. He has agreed to stay out of sight and do as he's told, and in exchange he is allowed to continue saving lives. Under government orders, Superman has been sent to "take care" of Batman.
The Showdown
Because Batman's actions and new followers undermine the government's authority, Superman is sent to take the dark knight down. One is a dark knight, the other is a military super-agent. Will it be the man with incredible strength or the man with modern technology who wins?
