Today, my copy of Batman: The Dark Knight #2 arrived. You might say it took a while. And it only took me 8 minutes to read it- the actual comic bit, I mean. Now I just want my #3. But, I did get reminded of something fascinating: there's always more to notice. If you haven't read it and are looking forward to doing so, you might want to stop reading now. At the back of my comic, in the DC All Access section, it was mentioned that a cloaked woman appeared somewhere in all the New 52 #1s. I went back and hunted through my copy, and, sure enough, found her outside Arkham Asylum about 12 pages in. And I also noticed that Jaina Hudson was wearing a nose ring. Funny how you don't notice these things first, or even fifth time, but then never stop noticing them. That's one of the reasons I like comics, all those extra things to notice. Like Nightwing's red contact lenses. Where did he get ones like that?; they're so freaky. Suits him, though. Okay, you're probably fed up with me going on about my new comic. Made my day, just coming home to find it. So that's why I'm waxing eloquent. I wonder when the first New 52 stories are being released as paper backs...?
