The Dark Knight battles The Man of Steel once more in the DCnU....
Ok, I was very astounded by the gothic and bad-ass scripts of writer Paul Jenkins, and we can't help but enjoy the dynamic art of once writer of Dark Knight vol 1 and penciller... David Finch.
Well, in the start of this issue, Scarecrow tries to toxin Batman with his fear gas but eventually Batman overcomes it twice from being succommed in to him. Eventually, he was now injected the same drug that two-face, Deathstroke, Joker (although that was actually Clayace) etc.
Superman then arrives, and tries to help Batman get to his feet, until eventually, the next scene we just saw, is that Batman uppercut punches Superman out of the roof of the cabin, with Batman proven that he has succumbed into the drug itself. Now that was a dynamic and awesome sucker punch from Batman, I gotta give it to the Dark Knight for this round. (Though I am a Superman fan more than Batman, but now, I call it balanced and even)
Ever the boyscout, Superman tries to give his friend some sense and tries his best to convince him to snap out of it, though it has proven that talking into a drugged hero with stronger abilities has no good effects whatsoever, you can see that firsthand in the comics.
Now with no option left, Superman is left with no other option: Down his friend and ally. I can see from the looks of Bats, that was one heck of a punch. Well anyway, Superman, with that down-a person-to the ground punch happened, Batman was brutally unconcious, (This also proves that you may be drugged with something that can make you strong, Batman is still human vulnerable)
The last scene I see is that Superman checks Bats for a life pulse, and to his surprise, he isn't. guess it's a suspense TO BE CONTINUED on this episode.
