The new Superman movie will be released next year and I'm so excited. I decided to make a fancast about the actors I'd use for a Superman film or TV show. This fancast will be made of official actors and fan-picked actors. Enjoy.

Main characters Edit

• Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El: I'm keeping Henry Cavill because the movie hasn't come out yet and I think he is a great actor.
• Katy Perry as Lois Lane: Oh boy, people will call me out for this. I have nothing against Amy Adams, okay? It's just that I think she's too old to play Lois. She's nine years older than Henry Cavill. So, I picked Katy Perry because she's one year younger than Cavill and she fits Lois's physical description flawlessly.
• Hugh Laurie as Perry White: Hugh Laurie was cast as Perry in Superman Returns, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts in House. But I think he can play Perry, because Perry and Dr. House are similar in personality, except that House is a deadpan jerk while Perry is a tough but fair boss.
• Rupert Grint as Jimmy Olsen: If we think about, Jimmy and Ron Weasley are kinda similar.
• Logan Lerman as Superboy/Conner Kent/Kon-El: In many Teen Titans fancasts I've seen, Logan Lerman is Robin/Tim Drake. But I think he is better-suited for the role of Superboy.
• Taylor Momsen as Supergirl/Kara Kent/Kara Zor-El: Taylor Momsen's character in Gossip Girl is similar to Supergirl in personality, except for the melodramatic undertones, of course.

Villains Edit

• Michael Cerveris as Lex Luthor: I liked Michael Cerveris's character in Fringe, and I think he can play the normally cool and self-restrained Luthor.
• Vin Diesel as Brainiac: After playing so many stoic action heroes across his career, I think Vin Diesel would be cool as the cold and emotionless Brainiac.
• Andre Braugher as the voice of Darkseid: Andre Braugher was awesome as Darkseid in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. Since he is only voicing the character, Darkseid would be in CGI.

Supporting characters Edit

• Bryce Dallas Howard as Lana Lang: Although I disliked her character's treatment in Spider-Man 3, I respect Howard as an actress and I think she would be good as Lana. In my version of the story, Lana and Clark are not a couple, just friends, although Lana has a crush on Clark and is jealous at how close Clark and Lois are.
• Russell Crowe as Jor-El: He is a great actor and is fit for the role.
• Ayelet Zorer as Lara: I'd liked how she played Lara in Smallville.
• Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent: He just has the looks to play Jonathan Kent.
• Diane Lane as Martha Kent: I deepley respect Diane Lane and she will be cool as Martha.
