Val Armorr (New Earth)

Val Armorr has never known his parents. He was raised by various martial arts teachers who trained him since his birth. He has taught the other members of the Legion of Super-Heroes various self-defence techniques. He's also training Ultra Boy how to better control his powers.^[1] He has dated Shadow Lass, but they broke up. However, they seem to be quite good friends anyway.

Martial Arts Master: Karate Kid is a master of every known martial art in the 31st century and knows how to use them combined with the use of his Legion Flight Ring. Val Armorr's martial arts mastery lists Karate Kid among the top 5 premier Martial artists of the DC Universe.^{[citation needed]}
