The Spook was a minor enemy of Batman who was skilled in the arts of hypnosis and escape. When Damien Al Ghul first met and subsequently fled from Batman, he donned a mixture of Robin's costume and League of Assassins gear, heading after the Spook. He tracked and decapitated the Spook, killing him. In a moment of serendipity, Damien's murder of the Spook actually saved the life of an undercover GCPD officer infiltrating the gang whose identity had just been discovered by another gang member.Powers and Abilities

The Spook was a master escape artist second only to Mister Miracle (Scott Free) and Batman. He was also trained in the art of hypnosis, and could easily manipulate the weak-minded. His aptitude in this arena was so strong that he once convinced a death row convict to take his place in the electric chair.Strength level
The Spook possessed the strength level of a man his age, size and weight who engaged in moderate regular exercise.

The Spook utilized a wide array of gadgets and devices in order to simulate various supernatural effects. Some of these devices include inflatable effigies of himself that can float through the air, finger-tip and boot suction cups for scaling buildings, and smoke machines for obscuring the perceptions of others.
