Validus is a mythological being of the planet Winath that has been said to be the one who creates all thunderstorms. Validus was worshipped by the "Cult of Validus", of whom Mekt Ranzz was a part of once.

Notes

• In incarnations in all other media, Validus is directly interpreted as a supervillain, and a member of the Fatal Five, a team of Legion of Super-Heroes Villains. Although this version of Validus isn't actually ever shown as anything more than an abstract concept, etchings of him clearly resemble the other versions.
