Von Bach was a Yugoslavian would-be dictator who was fought and defeated by Superman and Wonder Woman.
History
He was then imprisoned in the Gulag for killing opponents who had already surrendered. After being humiliated by Captain Comet during his incarceration, he made Comet the first fatality of the prison riot by breaking his neck. He was subsequently killed by Wonder Woman to stop him from killing Zatara.

- According to character supplement in Kingdom Come / Revelations Von Bach represents the Hitleresque villain that had so much symbolic importance in the Golden Age of superheroes.

- Von Bach is modeled after Milan Fras, the singer of the Slovenian experimental music group Laibach.
- Von Bach has the German words `liebe' (love) and `hass' (hate) tattooed on his arms.
