HistoryEdit
Von Daggle from the planet Durla was recruited by the Guardians of the Universe as an operative due to his innate Durlan shape-shifting ability. Von and his chosen soldiers secretly worked in the shadows, as part of a top-secret detachment which he refers to as the Green Lantern Corpse (note the spelling). Von and his men loyally served the Guardians for several years. Following the destruction of the Guardians at the hands of Parallax, Von maintained a low profile. However, when the Guardians were restored to life and power, they enlisted Von Daggle back into their service, reviving the GL Corpse.
Von Daggle has undertaken a mission with Guy Gardner to infiltrate the Dominator homeworld in the hopes of recovering an artifact, which may actually bring about the Dominion's destruction.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Powers
- Durlan Physiology: Von is a Durlan, a race of alien beings that can shape-shift at any time for any length of time with little limitation on size or shape. As such, his physiology is in constant flux and he hardly takes his original orange Durlan form.
- Shape-Shifting: Like all Durlans, Von possesses the ability to transform his body's size, shape and color to mimic any person, creature or object in the universe.
- Elasticity: Having a malleable form, Von can stretch and extend his form despite being solid.
- Enhanced Senses: Durlans can scan objects and/or living forms and store their shape into their brains. Scanning with their antenna takes only a few moments and the Durlan can take that form at any time.

- Mimicry
- Indomitable Will: Von Daggle possesses an exceptionally strong sense of will, a required trait for induction into the Green Lantern Corps.
- Stealth
Weaknesses
- Power Duplication Limitation: Von is limited to the physical capabilities of the form he takes. For instance, he cannot gain a Kryptonian's enhanced cells nor can he split himself like Triplicate Girl. However, he can fly like a bird and/or sting like a bee.

- Green Lantern Power Battery: Von Daggle possessed a standard Green Lantern power battery as a member of the Green Lantern Corps. With this tool, he was able to recharge his Green Lantern ring's power reserves every twenty-four hours. Von Daggle surrendered his ring and power battery when he quit the Green Lantern Corps.
