History

Vril Dox II is a citizen of the planet Colu and the son of Vril Dox I, a.k.a. Brainiac. Although cold-hearted and manipulative, he does not follow his father's footsteps, but has worked hard to make the universe a safer place. One of the most intelligent beings in the galaxy, he was the founder and long-time leader of the interstellar heroic organization known as L.E.G.I.O.N. When L.E.G.I.O.N. was taken over by Vril's corrupt son Lyrl, Vril instead created an opposing team, the R.E.B.E.L.S.

After the R.E.B.E.L.S. had helped restore L.E.G.I.O.N. as a force of good, Vril retired and left the leadership in the hands of Captain Comet.

Powers and Abilities

Abilities

Vril, like all members of the Dox family, possesses a superior intellect, on the order of a 12th-level intellect. (It has been said that the entire population of Earth is no greater than a level 8)^[1]

Weaknesses

Vril's arrogance, manipulative nature and poor people skills often put him at odds even with those who support him and agree with his goals.
